GENERAL

These conditions of sale apply to goods supplied by JCT Property Services Ltd T/A Anthony Sanders
Kitchens (The Company). Any quotation given by the company is an invitation to you to place an order with the Company only. No contract exists between you and the Company for the sale of any goods until the Company has received and accepted your signed quotation and initial deposit as cleared funds. All quotations given by the company will be valid for 30 days.

All drawings supplied by the company are an illustration of how your kitchen, Bedroom or Bathroom might look, and are not guaranteed to be an exact replica of the product supplied.

CONFIRMATION OF ORDER

Confirmation of an order will only be sent when all details have been agreed with the Company and the first payment has been made. This forms a binding legal contract between you and the Company. No addition or alteration to the order will be valid unless agreed in writing with the Company. In the event of such alteration a surcharge may be made at the discretion of the Company. Fitting, plumbing, tiling, electrical and building work will not be included in the contract unless separately agreed. For the avoidance of doubt the quotation does not include the final connections of electrical appliances and water supplies to appliances unless otherwise stated.

PAYMENT-WHERE OUR RECOMMENDED INSTALLERS CARRY OUT THE INSTALLATION

On confirmation of order the first payment of 50% of the total purchase price is due for Kitchens Bathrooms & Bedrooms. On or prior to delivery of Kitchens & Bedrooms a further 50% is due and for Bathrooms a further 40% is due. You will be contacted one week prior to delivery to ensure the second payment is made on time. Failure to pay may result in delivery being delayed until funds are received. The remaining balance of 10% for Bathrooms is due upon completion of the installation. No deviation from the above payment terms is permissible without the express permission of the company, if you delay your delivery the payment will still be due unless otherwise agreed in writing with the company. The company reserves the right to charge interest on outstanding or overdue payments at 3% above the current UK base rate, which will be calculated on a daily basis. In the event of a late or non-payment and without affecting any other rights or remedies of the company, the company shall be entitled to either suspend the delivery of the goods and their installation without notice and charge interest until all amounts owing (including accrued interest) have been paid in full, or terminate the contract by notice to you in writing. With regard to the final 10% balance this is payable within seven working days of completion. Failure to pay within this time will result in the debt being passed to our collection agency with a collection charge of 15% of the final balance being added to cover the companies costs in collection.

PAYMENT SUPPLY ONLY

As above but 50% deposit and full balance prior to the delivery. Failure to pay will result in delivery being delayed until balance received as cleared funds.

DELIVERY

Delivery date is scheduled upon deposit and receipt of the signed confirmation of the order, all details having been agreed. Responsibility of the goods will pass to the client upon delivery. Any damage or loss caused by persons not employed by the Company such as builders or other trades persons is the responsibility of the client. The risk in the goods not installed by the Company shall pass to you upon delivery. For goods installed by the Company risk shall pass after installation. Damage in either case due to inadequate site access shall be at your risk.

INSTALLATION

It is the customers responsibility to ensure the site is ready for installation.

WORKTOPS

Once the kitchen is installed a template will need to be taken for your worktops if applicable. They will return 1 to 2 weeks later to fit the worktop. You may need to arrange for your taps and hob to be disconnected and then reconnected once the stone has been fitted.

VARIATIONS IN COLOUR

The Customer will be shown a sample of a typical piece of furniture and worktop. Due to the nature of some of the timbers and worktop used there will be a natural variations in colour and surface markings. No guarantee is given that the furniture and worktops supplied will be an exact replica in terms of colour and surface markings as those displayed in the company showroom.

FITTING TOLERANCES

Voids and fillers surrounding the installed furniture are part of normal fitting tolerances and cannot be accepted as a basis for complaint.

STORAGE

If the agreed delivery date is extended after confirmation of the order the company reserves the right to make a charge for the storage of your furniture

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of orders will only be accepted if the Company has agreed in writing and on condition that you reimburse the Company all costs and expenses or losses and damages resulting from the cancellation.

WARRANTY

All goods supplied by the Company are warranted free from defects. All goods must be inspected immediately following installation (no later than seven days) and will be repaired or replaced free of charge if found to be defective or damaged in any way arising from the installation by the Company representatives. This warranty does not apply to any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage,
accidental damage, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the company, failure to follow the company’s instructions on after-care, or any alteration or repair carried out without the Company’s approval.

APPLIANCES

All new manufactured appliances supplied by the Company carry a parts and labour warranty, it is your responsibility to ensure the registration of each supplied appliance is registered with the manufacturer following installation. Appliances not supplied by the Company shall be the responsibility of you to ensure they are inspected for damage or defects prior to installation and available to install without delay. The Company will not be held responsible for removing waste packaging from goods supplied by you.

CABINETS & FRONTALS

Please be aware that there will be colour variations in our timber kitchens due to the inherent characteristics of natural timbers.

We will not accept claims resulting from such variations.

PAINTED KITCHENS

Please be aware that although we strive to maintain colour consistency as a painted product there maybe variations from batch to batch and therefore, we are unable to guarantee an exact colour match between orders. Painted products are susceptible to cracking along joint lines. Touch up paints are available to order. The paint colours depicted in our marketing literature is inductive of the colours of the painted product however paint colours do vary from batch to batch and substrate.

GUARANTEES

Each individual manufacturing company guarantee their products, the length of the guarantees vary company to company, this information can be provided upon request.

All Installation work completed by the company has a 12 month guarantee from completion date against installation defects.

CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

If quoted all waste materials will be removed upon completion. During installation and construction work a waste skip may be required, the siting of the skip will be discussed & agreed with you prior to work commencing. All skips not sited on the public highway and sited on your property will require you to sign a waiver, we will take every precaution to avoid damage to your property, but the company will not be held responsible for any damaged caused by the siting of a skip. All skips sited are for the purpose of waste removal by the company. Any General Waste not generated by the company will result in further charges for the removal of this waste.

Objective:

To provide a clear and effective process for handling complaints in order to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

1. Submission of Complaints:

2. Acknowledgment:
– Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt.
– An acknowledgment will include the complaint reference number, the name of the person handling the complaint, and an estimated timeline for resolution.

3. Investigation:
– Complaints will be investigated promptly and thoroughly.
– The assigned staff member will gather relevant information, including speaking with involved parties and reviewing documentation.

4. Resolution:

– A resolution will be proposed within 7 business days from the acknowledgment.
– The resolution will be communicated to the complainant along with an explanation of the findings.

5. Escalation:
– If the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution, they may escalate the complaint to a senior manager within 7 days.
– The senior manager will review the case and provide a final decision within 14 business days.

6. Documentation:
– All complaints and the resolutions will be documented in a complaints log for analysis and record-keeping.
– This log will be reviewed periodically to identify trends and areas for improvement.

7. Continuous Improvement:
– Feedback from complaints will be used to enhance services and prevent future issues.
– Regular training will be provided to staff to ensure a high standard of customer service.

8. Communication of Policy:
